...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 2 PM
FRIDAY...
* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH expected.
Locally higher gusts will be possible in the Malta and Idahome
area, including adjacent Interstate 84 where a crosswind will
exist over the interstate.
* WHERE...The eastern Magic Valley, Albion Mountains, and Raft
River region, including but not limited to Oakley, Burley,
Heyburn, Rupert, Albion, Malta, Rockland, and Holbrook.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 2 PM Friday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown
around.

Information:
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects or bring them inside
before the winds begin.

* WHERE...The Arco and Mud Lake Desert and Snake Plain, including
but not limited to Craters of the Moon, Idaho National
Laboratory, American Falls, Aberdeen, Pocatello, Chubbuck, Fort
Hall, Blackfoot, Shelley, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Rigby, Rexburg,
Sugar City, and St. Anthony.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM this evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially

times primarily above 6500 feet. Additional snow accumulations
of 2 to 3 inches in the mountains with up to 1 inch in the lower
mountain-valleys. Winds gusting to 40 MPH at times. For the
second Winter Weather Advisory, snow, moderate at times. Total
snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches across the mountains and 1
to 4 inches in the lower mountain-valleys.
* WHERE...The Bear River Range, Caribou Range, Big Hole Mountains,
Centennial Mountains, and Island Park, including but not limited
to Emigration Summit, Wayan, Swan Valley, Pine Creek Pass,
Victor, Island Park, Raynolds Pass, and Targhee Pass.
* WHEN...For the first Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 PM this
evening. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, from midnight
tonight to 10 PM Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility and create hazardous
driving conditions.
