...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT TO 10 PM MST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...For the first Winter Weather Advisory, snow, moderate at
times primarily above 6500 feet. Additional snow accumulations
of 2 to 3 inches in the mountains with up to 1 inch in the lower
mountain-valleys. Winds gusting to 40 MPH at times. For the
second Winter Weather Advisory, snow, moderate at times. Total
snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches across the mountains and 1
to 4 inches in the lower mountain-valleys.
* WHERE...The Bear River Range, Caribou Range, Big Hole Mountains,
Centennial Mountains, and Island Park, including but not limited
to Emigration Summit, Wayan, Swan Valley, Pine Creek Pass,
Victor, Island Park, Raynolds Pass, and Targhee Pass.
* WHEN...For the first Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 PM this
evening. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, from midnight
tonight to 10 PM Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility and create hazardous
driving conditions.
